How to Take a Screenshot on Your Mobile Device
On most devices, you will either hold down the power and volume down, the home and volume down, or the volume up and volume down buttons simultaneously, until you get a screenshot confirmation.
The screenshot should be added to your device's photo gallery and may be located in the "Screenshots" folder.

How to Take a Screen Recording on Your Mobile Device
If your device supports screen recording, you should be able to access it via the quick settings or notifications tray after swiping down from the notification bar.
For instance, for Google Pixel phones (running Android 11 or later), swipe down from the top notification bar > select Screen Record Start > Start. You should see a countdown in your notification bar. To stop the recording, swipe down on your notification bar, and then select Tap to stop. Your recording should be saved to your device’s on-board storage, in the “Movies” folder. You can access it via the notification generated after saving the video, via the Photos app (select Library > Movies [underneath “Photos on device”]), or via a file navigation app (i.e. “Files”).
If you do not see a screen recording option in your notification tray, you may need to edit the tray to include it.
