To set up the Sleep Cycle alarm, in the Sleeptracker-AI® app, navigate to Menu > Sleep Cycle Alarm, and toggle the alarm on.
Set the alarm time, the days of the week you want the alarm to activate, your alarm window preference, your alarm type (Vibrate Power Base or Music on your smartphone), and choose your alarm sound (if applicable).
- The alarm window can be turned on or off. With the alarm window enabled, the Sleeptracker-AI® system will wake you up at the lightest stage of sleep. You can select an alarm window of 10 to 90 minutes.
- When your Alarm Type is set to Music on your smartphone, you can select an alarm sound from the included options, or select music from your music library. To use your own music, select Tap to change music, then tap My Music, and if necessary, grant the app permission to access your music. Next, search for and select your desired audio track.
- Android users who have a music alarm enabled can set their Snooze Duration at the bottom of the Sleep Cycle Alarm settings page, from 1 to 15 minutes. When the music alarm activates, Android users can snooze the alarm for the chosen amount of time. The snooze feature is not available in the iOS app, and it's not available for the Vibrate Power Base alarm type.
Learn more about the Sleep Cycle Alarm in the app by going to Menu > Sleep Cycle Alarm > Tap to learn about Sleeptracker-AI® alarms.
If your Sleep Cycle Alarm did not sound, ensure you have the alarm time correctly set and the alarm volume is set to 50% or more. Additionally, the Sleep Cycle alarm is a Cloud-based alarm, so you’ll want to keep features like “Do Not Disturb” or your device’s hardware silent switch disabled (if equipped), as these features may block the Sleeptracker-AI® app’s alarm notification from sounding the alarm.
Furthermore, the Sleep Cycle Alarm will only activate when a sleep recording is in progress. If your sleep is not being automatically monitored, select here to check your smart bed's setup.
If you need more assistance, try the following steps:
- In the app, navigate to Menu > Sleep Cycle Alarm, and then toggle off the alarm if it is currently turned on.
- Next, go to Menu > My Profile > Account > Log Out, to log out of your account.
- Uninstall the Sleeptracker-AI® app from your mobile device, and then reinstall it from your device’s app store.
- If needed, select here for information on how to uninstall/delete apps on Apple devices, or here for Android devices.
- Once the app has reinstalled, log back into your account.
- Before going to sleep tonight, return to Menu > Sleep Cycle Alarm, to turn on the alarm. Ensure that the alarm time is correct and your alarm volume on this screen is set to 50% or more.
- Once you have made your changes, be sure to navigate away from the alarm screen (i.e. by tapping the back button), in order to save the alarm changes you just made.
- Press your mobile device’s physical Volume Up button, to ensure that your device's system app/media volume is set to max.
- Note: on Apple devices, consider toggling off “Change with Buttons”, so your volume buttons control media volume. To do so, launch the Settings app, select Sounds & Haptics, and then toggle off “Change with Buttons.” Afterward, launch the Sleeptracker-AI® app and ensure your system’s app/media volume is set to max.
- Leave the Sleeptracker-AI® app open or backgrounded (do not force-close the app or remove it from your recently opened apps).
