The Sleeptracker-AI® Android app now integrates with Health Connect, a service that facilitates data sharing between various health and fitness apps on your device. By syncing your Sleeptracker-AI® sleep data with Health Connect, you can easily manage and share your sleep history across multiple apps.
- Make sure you have the latest version of the Sleeptracker-AI® app.
- On your mobile device, install Health Connect from the Play Store.
- In the Sleeptracker-AI app, go to Menu > My Profile > Linked Health Apps > Launch Health Connect.
- Tap App permissions.
- Select Sleeptracker.
- Under "Allowed to write," tap Sleep.
After installing Health Connect and allowing Sleeptracker-AI® to write sleep data, your sleep data will automatically sync to Health Connect.
To manually sync sleep data to Health Connect, open the Sleeptracker-AI® app and go to Menu > My Profile > Linked Health Apps > Sync Health Connect (at the bottom of the page).
If you ever log out of your Sleeptracker-AI® account or reinstall the Sleeptracker-AI® app, you'll need to repeat steps 3 to 6.
Once your sleep data is synced with Health Connect, you can share it with other health apps, such as Google Fit or Samsung Health. Here’s how:
- Open Health Connect on your mobile device. You can access Health Connect with any of these methods:

Open your Settings app > select Apps > select Health Connect > tap Open.

If you’ve added Health Connect to your quick settings, tap the Health Connect icon.
- Open the Sleeptracker-AI app and go to Menu > My Profile > Linked Health Apps > Launch Health Connect.

- In Health Connect, tap on the health or fitness app that you want to share your sleep data to.
- In the "Allowed to read" section, toggle on "Sleep"
Sleep data not syncing to your other health apps?
- Ensure that Sleeptracker-AI® has permission to write sleep data to Health Connect, and ensure your other health apps have permission to read sleep data from Health Connect.
- Try syncing your sleep data manually to Health Connect: open the Sleeptracker-AI® app and go to Menu > My Profile > Linked Health Apps > tap Sync Health Connect (at the bottom of the page).
- In Health Connect, try toggling off all read & write permissons, and then toggling on your desired options again.
Sleep data not accurately syncing?
- Health Connect allows multiple apps to write data into the same on-device storage, which can lead to inaccuracies for various reasons.
- To prevent Health Connect from using incorrect data, you can delete any inaccurate entries. If you only want Sleeptracker-AI® to write sleep data, you need to stop all other apps from writing it by removing their write permission.
