The Fullpower® Sleep smart bed requires a 110-240v power adapter (included), 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi access point utilizing WPA, WPA2 or WPA3 security connected to the Internet, and an iOS or Android phone or tablet.
The Fullpower® Sleep app is compatible with iPhones and iPads running iOS 15 or later.
The Fullpower® Sleep app is compatible with Android phones and tablets running Android OS 9.0 or later.
Yes, the Fullpower® Sleep app works with iPads running iOS 15 or later and Android tablets running Android OS 9.0 or later.
The Fullpower® Sleep app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store for Android devices, or the Apple App Store for iOS/iPadOS devices.
After downloading the Fullpower® Sleep app, launch the app and follow the on-screen instructions. The setup instructions in the app will walk you through the process of creating an account, setting up your smart bed, and connecting to your home Wi-Fi.
Your Program Code allows your sleep practitioner to study your sleep results. If you forgot your Program Code, contact your sleep program administrator.
To download the correct app, make sure you scan the QR Code on the paper instructional pamphlet that was included with your Fullpower® Sleep installation kit.
While you are pairing your smart bed to your account during the setup phase, there is a different QR Code to scan. Make sure to scan the QR Code on the processor, which is a curvy rectangular black device with circular vents, approximately the size of a deck of cards. The processor's QR Code will allow you to complete the setup in the app.
The Fullpower® Sleep app will walk you through the setup procedure. At any time after completing the setup, you can navigate to the “Connection Status” page by going to Menu > My Smart Bed > Status to confirm that your smart bed is online, and the sensors are plugged in.
Select the left side in the app and connect your sensor to the black input connector on the processor. Place the sensor under your mattress, centered under the pillow where you spend most of your time sleeping.
Before adding a second user, please ensure that you have two sensors plugged into the processor.
From the first user's account, select Menu > Add Second User. A 12 digit Quick Add Code will be generated, which you can either write down or share via email or text message.
The second user should install the Fullpower® Sleep app on their phone or tablet. Launch the app on the second user's phone, enter your Program Code (provided by your sleep program administrator), select Join Existing Smart Bed, enter the 12 digit Quick Add Code, and then follow the instructions to finish creating the account for the second user.
If the second user has already created their own account and is on the Home tab in the app, have the second user go to Menu > Pair Smart Bed > select Add yourself as a second user, and enter the Quick Add Code. Note: If the second user has an Android device and has already created their own account, the second user will need to delete their own account (Menu > My Profile > Account > Delete Account), then follow the instructions in the third paragraph (above) to enter the code and recreate your account.
The Fullpower® Sleep system works with any standard innerspring, foam, memory foam or hybrid mattress.
Yes, you and your partner will each have unique Fullpower® Sleep accounts that monitor and store sleep data. During the app setup, you will be asked to specify which side of the bed you sleep on, allowing the system to distinguish you from your partner.
Pets at the foot of the bed should not affect your heart rate or respiratory rate data, but if they get up and move during the night, they could affect your sleep data. At Menu > My Smart Bed > Setup > Smart Bed Details, ensure you have “Yes" selected for “Are pets allowed on your smart bed?”
If you or your partner switches sides of the bed, simply update this information in the app from the Menu under My Smart Bed > Setup > Switch Sides.
If you get a new device, you won’t lose any of your data. Simply download the app on your new device and sign-in to your existing account.
No, you don't have to wear a device. Your sleep is monitored through the sensors which are under your mattress.
The system will not record data during a power outage. Once power is restored, it will automatically resume recording your sleep data. The Sleep Cycle Alarm, however, will still activate via your phone or tablet at the proper time if there is a power outage.
Both of your accounts can be accessed from the same device, however, to prevent having to log out and log back in, it’s best for each user to have the app running on their own phone or tablet. If you choose to use a single phone or tablet for both users, the Fullpower® Sleep app will display the data of whichever user is logged in. To see data associated with another account, log out of the current account by going to Menu > My Profile > Account > Log Out and then log in to the other account.
The processor requires access to an internet-enabled home Wi-Fi network. A mobile hotspot would work, too.
No, the system will still monitor your sleep if your phone or tablet is off, but the Sleep Cycle Alarm will not work with your phone or tablet off.
To restore your data, re-download the Fullpower® Sleep app, launch the app, enter the Program Code provided to you by your sleep program administrator, and then log in to your existing account. All of your data will be present.
Yes, the Fullpower® Sleep AI Engine can differentiate between when a user is awake in bed and when they are actually entering early stages of sleep. To do so, the system uses machine learning algorithms that take into account the breathing rate, heart rate, and micro motion sensed by the Fullpower® Sleep system.
If someone else will be using your bed, and you wish to turn off the Fullpower® Sleep system, the smart bed's processor will need to be unplugged from the power outlet. While unplugged from power, the smart bed will not record, retain, or upload any sensor data. This includes sleep quality, heart rate, breath rate and air quality. To resume normal functionality, simply power on the smart bed by plugging it in to the USB power adapter, and the smart bed will take a couple of minutes to automatically reconnect to your home's Wi-Fi network.
The Fullpower® Sleep app will guide you through the correct placement of the sensors based on the bed type that you have. In general, one sensor should be placed underneath the mattress, on top of the foundation, centered directly underneath the pillow of each sleeper.
If you have a slatted bed frame, place the sensor(s) on top of the slat nearest the center of your pillow. Ensure the sensor foam lies entirely on a slat, not half on and half off.
If your mattress sits on a slatted foundation, metal grid, or mesh, ensure the sensor is positioned on a solid/flat surface so the sensor is pushed evenly into the mattress when you lie down. The sensor needs to make firm, evenly distributed contact with the mattress to function properly.
If the openings in your foundation are larger than the sensor, use a thin piece of plywood or plexiglass that spans the holes to ensure the entire sensor makes contact with the mattress.
Ensure your processor is elevated off the floor. We recommend re-using one of the cable twist ties to hang the processor under your bed. There are environmental sensors in the processor which provide the most accurate readings when the vents on the processor are not blocked.
Yes, the Fullpower® Sleep system works with any bed. On adjustable beds, ensure that there is plenty of slack in the sensor cables, so your bed can be adjusted fully without straining the sensor cables. Additionally, make sure you route the sensor cables properly, so the cables do not get pinched when the adjustable base is raised or lowered.
Check to ensure your Wi-Fi router and smart bed are close enough to each other for a good signal. Walls and other devices on the 2.4GHz or 5GHz frequency range can interfere or reduce the signal strength. If the Wi-Fi router cannot be moved closer to the bedroom, a Wi-Fi range extender or mesh Wi-Fi system may be suitable options.
The smart bed requires a Wi-Fi router running on the 2.4GHz or 5GHz band. The smart bed supports WPA, WPA2 and WPA3 security. The WEP security protocol is no longer supported due to its security vulnerabilities.
Yes, in order to transmit your sleep data to your account, your smart bed will need to be connected to the internet through your Wi-Fi router.
To adjust the Wi-Fi settings of your smart bed, go to Menu > My Smart Bed > Troubleshoot & Wi-Fi > Adjust Wi-Fi Settings, and then follow the on-screen instructions. If you need assistance, email support@sleeptracker.com and include your router’s brand and model.
The smart bed uses Bluetooth during the initial setup, but relies on Wi-Fi to communicate with the Cloud.
There are some combination modem-routers (gateways) which have trouble maintaining a consistent internet connection. These models affect all Wi-Fi devices, not only the smart bed. Many of these are cable modem gateways leased or rented by cable companies, and there are often alternative cable modem gateways available from your cable company if you request an alternate model.
In the app, select the Menu button, then select Sleep Cycle Alarm. You can select from built in wake up music or from your own music library.

The smart bed detects the micro-motion generated from your heartbeat and respiration cycles with highly-precise sensors placed under your mattress.
The system is designed to help you determine how you sleep best. The AI Sleep Coach will give you tips created specifically to help you sleep better and improve your sleep quality metric.
Light and REM sleep are considered to be closer to wakefulness than deep sleep. Deep sleep is characterized by a lack of prominent eye movement, a lack of bodily movement and decreased cerebral blood flow, with associated changes in heart rate and respiration rate. The system differentiates between these sleep phases by monitoring movement, heart rate, and respiration rate.
The AI Sleep Coach analyzes your personal sleep data to develop unique coaching recommendations personalized just for you.
