Why can't I adjust my bed with the remote control?
If you have taken delivery of your smart bed and haven't downloaded the Sleeptracker application, you may find that you are unable to flatten your bed with the remote control. When setting up your smart bed from the Sleeptracker application through the intro flow, the app will update the firmware of the bed. This update will address issues with adjusting your bed with the physical remote control. If you haven’t downloaded the Sleeptracker application and updated the firmware of the bed you can alternatively unplug the Sleeptracker processor under your bed. The processor is attached to the bottom of some beds and loose on other beds. It is the plastic box about 4.5" x 3.75" with ethernet jacks and a label on top. Temporarily unplug the power supply from the processor to restore adjustability with the remote control. Once you download the Sleeptracker app, plug the processor back in and follow the on-screen instructions to download the processor firmware update.

Does the Sleeptracker work in every position the adjustable base can move to?
For the Sleeptracker system to work, the sensors in the adjustable base need to have good contact with the mattress. Vibration motors also need to be off before your sleep can be recorded.

SmartMotion captures the motion generated from your heart beats and respiration cycles with highly-precise sensors in the Base.
What is resting heart rate?
Your resting heart rate is how many times per minute your heart beats while you are at rest. Resting heart rate is an indicator of your basic fitness level and a strong predictor of cardiovascular health. A healthy adult range is between 60 and 80 bpm, while athletes can have a resting heart rate as low as 30 bpm.
Are there impacts that can affect the accuracy of my heart rate reading?
Due to the sensitive nature of the heart rate measurement, outside sources of motion can affect the accuracy of the reading. For example, if your adjustable Base has a vibration mode, your heart rate will not be readable while the vibration motors are running. Kids or pets on the bed may also interfere with the reading.
When I know I’m not sleeping, the Sleeptracker graph has shown me as being in a sleeping state. Why?
When in bed relaxing, it is not uncommon for your heart rate, respiration rate and motion to be very similar to when you are sleeping. Under these conditions, the sleep graph may show you as asleep. Without more invasive measurements of your brain activity, it can be difficult to distinguish between a calm relaxed state and actual sleep. In most cases, having trouble falling asleep results in some form of restlessness such as tossing and turning, elevated heart rate or respiration rate which will be picked up by Sleeptracker as being awake.
What impacts my heart rate?
Everyone’s heart rate is different, so there are many factors that can affect it, including stress and diet.
Can I share my sleep information with others?
Currently, there is no option to share information with other users. We are working on adding this feature for later versions.

Sleeptracker technology differentiates between these sleep phases by monitoring movement, heart rate and respiration rate.
