ActiveBreeze

Note: ActiveBreeze features are only available with the TEMPUR-Ergo® ProSmart Air.

ActiveBreeze Remote Basics

When it comes to the ActiveBreeze features on the remote, keep in mind:

  • The cooling fans will operate at the selected speed for up to 10 hours. There are three cooling fan speeds available — simply tap the left or the right fan button to cycle through the three levels of intensity.
  • The heating fans will operate for up to 1 hour. There is only one speed for the heating fan.
  • Pressing the SYNC button will simultaneously cycle the left and right fans through the fan speeds.

You can control the fans with the physical remote and the in-app remote. To use the in-app remote, open the Sleeptracker-AI® app, go to Menu > Remote, and then select the tab in the upper right.

Split Fan Mode

This mode applies to beds with two bases that have already been wirelessly sync'd using the Sync buttons on the back of the physical remotes. Then, using the physical remote from the left side base, press and hold the Left Warming button and Sync Cooling button for 6 seconds. After 6 seconds, the remote backlight should blink twice indicating the bases are now in Split Fan Mode. In Split Fan Mode, the fan buttons on both physical remotes will operate the fans as follows:

  • Left side fan buttons will control fans on the left side base.
  • Right side fan buttons will control fans on the right side base.
  • Sync fan buttons will control fans on both the left and right side bases together.

Note: The remote in the Sleeptracker-AI® app currently does not support Split Fan Mode, so all fan buttons on the in-app remote will control all fans on sync'd bases, even when the bases are in Split Fan Mode. Please use the physical remotes to control the fans in Split Fan Mode.

To deactive Split Fan Mode: Use the remote control from wither base to press and hold the Right Warming button and Sync Cooling button for 6 seconds. After 6 seconds, the remote backlight should blink twice indicating the bases are no longer in Split Fan Mode. When Split Fan Mode is deactivated, the fan buttons on both remote controls will revert back to the default state where all fan buttons control all fans on sync'd bases.

Step-Down Mode

This mode will operate the cooling fan at the selected speed for 5 hours, and then “step-down” to a lower speed for an additional 5 hours.

To access this mode, you must use the physical remote. Once the desired fan speed has been selected, press and hold the corresponding fan button for 3 seconds. The selected fan speed LED will blink twice to indicate that the Step-Down Mode is activated.

  • Low (for 5 hours) → Off
  • Medium (for 5 hours) → Low (for 5 hours)
  • High (for 5 hours) → Medium (for 5 hours)
Climate Programs

There are three ActiveBreeze Climate Programs to choose from: Before Bed, During Sleep, and Upon Wakeup. You can toggle any of these options on or off by going to the Climate tab in the app.

Troubleshooting

If you're having difficulties with the Climate programs in the Sleeptracker-AI® app, start off by testing the ActiveBreeze fans with the physical remote. If you're unable to properly control the fans with the physical remote, please contact Tempur to resolve this.

If you are able to control the fans with the physical remote, please follow these steps to troubleshoot the Climate programs:

  1. Check the connection status of your Smart Bed by going to Menu > My Smart Bed > Status. If your Smart Bed appears to be offline, try some Wi-Fi troubleshooting steps

  2. In the app, check for any available firmware updates by going to Menu > My Smart Bed > Firmware Update

  3. Navigate to the in-app remote by going to the Home tab > tap the remote icon in the upper left corner > select the heating and cooling tab in the upper right. Test these buttons to see if they control your fans.

  4. Ensure that your base is wired correctly by going to Menu > My Smart Bed > Setup > Verify Configuration > Next.

    • If you encounter any errors, tap Troubleshoot Configuration > View Setup Guide, and check to see if your bed's components are plugged in properly.

  5. In the app, check that you're assigned to sleep on the correct side of the bed, by going to Menu > My Smart Bed > Setup > Switch Sides. Tap the side where you normally sleep, then tap the back arrow to save your changes.

  6. To ensure the Climate programs activate on time, set your regular bedtime and wake time by going to Menu > Sleep Goals & Schedule

  7. Toggle OFF all of the Climate program options. Then, log out (Menu > My Profile > Account > Log Out), log in again, and toggle ON your desired options.
